I quit Instagram because Facebook broke it now they bring the reason I left to the Facebook app

Let me say, I LOVED the see whos logged on to messenger sidebar for the old Facebook app. I REFUSE to use the "your story" stuff its absolutely dumb.
I used to be a heavy Instagram user, I was on it all day, but suddenly it became snap chat in a different wrapper and completely turned me off, so I deleted my Instagram after being a big user. NOW its been brought to the Facebook app! Its stupid! It takes up space on the screen and its like nails on a chalk board to me! Please give me the ability to turn it off!!! I want the ability to see whos online back!

I wont even mention the other buttons on the bottom I never use. Marketplace and search videos should not be on the main UI they should be in the explore menu. There should be an option in settings to choose what you want on the bottom.
