Frustrating!!!

Why is the iPad app so neglected? It does not support split screen multitasking! Also, when viewing a video within the app on an iPad Pro 9.7 and you close the video to continue scrolling through your wall, the video continues to play in the background. I have to open the task manager, kill the fb app and then launch it again to kill the video. This is unacceptable
