Does not protect users

Facebook is complicit in Cambridge Analytica’s unlawful use of users private data. Facebook did not warn millions of users, the U.S. government, or take any action to ensure that Cambridge Analytica actually deleted the data. Facebook also failed to report to authorities or prevent Russian entities from paying to show political advertisements on Facebook’s platform.
Have not used Facebook in months. Don’t miss it, and I hope that deleting the app helps to show the company that their actions (or should I say, inaction) have a consequence.
