What the f***

My fb app went into “loading” mode and was stuck all day so I deleted and redownloaded the app. It’s on my iPhone now but no app icon appears and it doesn’t show when I double click my home button to bring up task manager. It shows that it is in fact installed and I can search for it but otherwise I can’t find it. I can’t I download the app either bc of how iPhone iOS is designed
