Recent update swings back to start of newsfeed every time you switch back from a page

Everybody lives around Toronto now, defaults to Toronto every time. Cannot keep a permanent setting since last update - very annoying - have sent in screenshots nobody has done anything even acknowledge them...

With the new update this morning all my group shortcuts disappeared. When I go in to edit they are set correctly but do not appear in the shortcut list.

That says it all. I can’t even see the upcoming events because it repeatedly crashes.

Facebook is forever showing notifications on my page for an album that I unliked AND unfollowed months ago. Showing new episodes of a “Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares” that I have never liked nor watched. Showing notifications for what other people in my area are doing or where they’re going, as if I care. It’s bad enough that the posts are shown out of order, to where you have to MANUALLY set it to show the most recent posts EVERY TIME, or you’ll be looking at posts from 12 hours ago. I deleted the app and just check the mobile site from time to time or whenever I can remember to do so.

App updates are massive, app is bloated from “moving fast and breaking things”. The algorithms a bunch of “engineers” cooked up will infiltrate every user instead of giving folks control of their social life. App and website trap people, and it fights users wanting to use the safe full Safari application. Facebook helped elect the current US President too by failing to control harassment, abuse, and propaganda that is wide spread on the ad filled platform. But hey, lots of smiling folks too ;)

La App es muy buena. Solamente que hace unas semanas volvieron a unir las publicaciones de las páginas y de los amigos, y es molesto ya que hay algunas personas que se la pasan compartiendo posts y con eso se llena el feed. Además, cada vez que miro un video como que se traba y no me deja quitarlo, me deja mover la página pero no se cierra el video. Y por último cuando quito el video o foto, la pantalla se queda opaca y no me deja hacer nada hasta que cierre la aplicación. Gracias!

Since the latest update I can’t get to any of my saved items, every time I click on saved the app closes.

Works wonderfully, and if something is wrong it gets fixed right away. Yesterday after the update, most recent was missing. This morning it’s back so I’m happy ?

Sometimes when I have been using the Facebook app for a bit, I stop to do something else (shocking, I know). I might come back 15 minutes later, maybe hours later. Nothing refreshes so I have to drag down to get new posts. HOWEVER, if I am in the middle of making a comment, switch to answer a text for 15 seconds, then return, the app will have refreshed me right back to my feed. CONSISTENCY would be nice. I absolutely cannot count on being gone any amount of time from the app and return to where I left off. IF THERE IS A COMMENT BOX ACTIVE, even if blank, the app should not refresh. The way it works now actively damages the ability to interact on FB and the rest of the world at the same time. Please make autorefresh optional or at least set an away time before refreshing that is several minutes (at least 3) so that I don’t need to have a dedicated FB device.

iPhone X. Updated the app recently and now the app no longer does audio for anything.

Seems like with every update something doesn’t work. It takes weeks to fix it then something else goes wrong. Crashes often and news feed doesn’t stay current without having to go to the menu. Right now all of favorites are gone except most recent, and the most recent is 2 days ago posts. Getting real tired of it.

What? I don’t want to see 20 hour old posts. Crappy app. Even more reason to stop using Facebook. Thanks guys!

The in app sound keeps turning itself back on daily. I don’t want the app to use its sound and am extremely frustrated that I constantly have to turn the sound back off.

Facebook just updated and I can’t even go live like how do I go live. Please explain

Before the update, they fixed a glitch that was making it so that videos didn’t play any sound despite having the volume on, with this update, the glitch is back and no audio plays from the app. Great going. You’d think a multi-billion dollar company would be on top of thins. Nope

Facebook keeps crashing and freezing up. The posts from your friends aren’t in order of the way they were posted. But the most annoying part is it constantly freezes and crashes. It use to be so much better. Also it takes everything like an hour to load it’s ridiculous before all of the changes it used to be much quicker

I have grave concerns about using Facebook other to obtain information from Guardianship sites to help write legislation and keep out parents/Elderly safe. I will use it cautiously as I’m not sure social media is safe anymore.

For the love of all things please leave the option to see your news feed in the most recent format! I don’t understand stand why this gets pulled with every update and why you have to control how I like at my content! Plus the news feed constantly shows the same stories from almost a week ago! I find it funny that even the reviews for Facebook aren’t even in chronological order...
